    Global AI Show

    Introduction to activities

The Global AI Show, GAIS conference in Riyadh in 2026 brought an extraordinary and profound experience to all those concerned with the future development of artificial intelligence. The conference, which was hosted by VAP Group and supported by Times of AI, aimed to explore the potential for artificial intelligence applications in multiple areas, ranging from commercial solutions to user-oriented applications, and to present a full spectrum of artificial intelligence-led processes of change in all fields of humankind.

Participants will be able to discuss and exchange ideas around core issues such as artificial intelligence strategies, machine learning, natural language processing, and forecasting analysis. At the same time, participants will directly experience various types of artificial intelligence tools and platforms that can help them apply technologies to real-life business scenarios.

Ethics and regulation are at the heart of this conference, for which it has set up special thematic sessions to focus on key directions such as responsible deployment of artificial intelligence, algorithm fairness, and data privacy protection. As artificial intelligence becomes more widely available globally, mastering these frameworks is critical for business and policymakers.

Previous General Assembly presentations were multi-faceted and heavy, bringing together global leaders, visioners and innovation champions in the fields of science and technology, governance, health and cybersecurity. These include H.E. Nate Globish, Director of the Science, Technology and Innovation Department of the Government of Alberta, Canada, and Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, Head of the Temple of St. Vincent Boap, United Arab Emirates; Professor Shafi Ahmed, a prominent surgeon, future scientist, humanitarian and chief executive officer of Medical Realities, and John Nosta, founder of NOSTALAB, the leading innovator in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence and medicine, were among the guests. In addition, Janet Adams, Chief Operator and Director of SingularityNET/ASI, Jeanie Fang, Director General of Crunchbase Data and Artificial Intelligence, also brought professional insights into the General Assembly in the area of artificial intelligence and data innovation.

Human outreach was one of the central highlights of this Conference, with ad hoc interactive areas on the ground to help participants work together, generate investment and collaborate. The Global Congress on Artificial Intelligence places great emphasis on building people and working together to win, creating a dynamic communication environment that allows industry leaders, innovation pioneers and investors to fully connect and exploit new opportunities for cooperation. The sessions were designed to stimulate forward-looking discussions on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in reshaping global industry and society.

The agenda of the Congress includes a series of heavy keynote addresses, thematic reports and panels focusing on future trends in artificial intelligence, practical applications and their destabilizing effects on core industries. The topics included, inter alia, Saudi Arabia's vision of building an artificial intelligence-driven future and its global implications; the blueprint for artificial intelligence development in 2030; and a shift in the pattern of human collaboration with intelligent machines. At the same time, guests will explore in depth the practical landing cases of General Artificial Intelligence (AGI), patient-centred medical change driven by artificial intelligence, breakthroughs in drug research and development, application of artificial intelligence in individualized medicine and forecasting techniques to promote innovation in health outcomes.

Through the deliberations on these topics, the Congress has provided a comprehensive picture of how artificial intelligence can break the boundaries of development and promote cross-industry dialogue that will contribute to the leapfrogging of science and technology and society in the next generation.

The Congress brought together experts, innovators, and industry actors from the global arena of artificial intelligence, further entrenching Riyadh as a forward-line hub for science and technology. Joining the Global Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh immediately to capture inspiration, insight into trends, and transform artificial intelligence into an effective driver of development.
